Snoova's Top 10 - CLASSIFIED FIGURES I WANT HASBRO TO MAKE

The official Hasbro "Yo Joe June" for 2026 has come to an end.  During the month we were informed about multiple figures and vehicles that are forthcoming to the G.I. Joe Classified line.  Several long-awaited characters from the original line are finally going to make their entrance like Iceberg and Toxo-Viper, while we have a handful of completely new additions to the line as well, like Mistress Armada and Synapse.

My personal interest in the line is almost purely OG characters.  That's what I'm after!  I DO appreciate the new characters though.  I think they keep the line fresh and interesting, but they aren't for me.  But you take an older character from 1986 and make a great, new Classified version?  I'm in.

But I was thinking...  What would I REALLY like Hasbro to do?  Especially considering how far they are willing to go with some of these figures.  What characters are ones I would be saying "Oh, I gotta buy that one!!!"?  So I made a little list....

#10 - RECOIL

Starting off easy and pulling one from my Top 10 Favorite Joes list...  I figure Recoil is an obvious one they will make someday.  Besides the baby blue color to the original figure's weapons, he didn't have any neon, so he may be an easy pick for the fans of the more grounded or "realistic" figures.  On the other hand, he's not well-known.  He has kinda flown under the radar.  For me though, I have always had a special place in my heart for Recoil as he was one of the last figures I got in the original line.  Plus, I have always though his "double-gun" contraption was cool!  So they would definitely make sure they got his weapon done right.  If so, I would surely buy Recoil if they made a Classified version.

#9 - STALKER 2  (Tundra Ranger)

This figure came out as I was phasing out of Joes.  I remember Bobby (aka Deathwish) bought it and I really liked it!  But our "Joe-buying" days were coming to an end and I never got it.  Stalker in this outfit was utilized in the comics a lot.  So I am surprised this figure hasn't been made already!  Besides his cool look, Stalker 2 is known for his giant kayak accessory.  Hasbro could really rock this figure!  We know that!  Unfortunately, they are gonna jack the price a bit because of the kayak.  Still, this would be an awesome figure to see!

#8 - ROCK-VIPER

Again, I'm surprised they haven't made this one yet.  We didn't get a lot of Mountain Troopers back in the day, but all of the ones we DID get were awesome (Alpine, Hit & Run, and Rock-Viper)!  I would love to see them outfit this guy with new, unique accessories - don't just give us Alpine's gear with a new figure.  Also, they can give us 2 head sculpts (they like doing that anyways)... one with a mustache and one without!

#7 - BANZAI  (Ninja Force)

They have started delving into the 90's and Ninja Force...  neon and all!  I'm cool with that, but let's keep it going even deeper into the lesser known Ninja Force guys that never appeared in the comics or cartoons like Banzai!  I really liked this figure back in the day, despite the massive amount of bright pink used in his uniform.  I would be curious to see what Hasbro would do, if they would tame down his colors a bit and give him some unique weaponry or what.

#6 - KNOCK OUT

Whoa!  Did this one catch you by surprise?  Do you even know who this is?  Knock Out was the one "brand new" character that was SUPPOSED to be in the 1995 Ninja Commando line.  Since they didn't get released, the character is a mystery.  Was he a Joe or Cobra?  What's his story?  This would be an opportunity for Hasbro to give us something from the year G.I. Joe was cancelled.  Delve into their files and see what the plans were with this guy.  Update some of what gear he was planned to have and give us a taste of what SHOULD have been 1995!  Come on, if we can make a new character like Professor Rott-Claw, then we can make this dude!!

#5 - DEEP SIX  (comic version)

They just made a "Diver Suit" version of Deep Six!  Awesome!  But what about the comic version where he was in more "normal" clothes?  This look for the character made a lot of appearances in the comic, even manning a gunner's seat in the WHALE!  This would be a great unexpected figure to get!

#4 - NIGHT VULTURE

Okay, ever since it became obvious that Hasbro was occasionally going to do some deep dives on their figure selection - I have been wanting them to make this figure.  Night Vulture has such a cool, almost Snake Eyes-ish look.  Yeah, there is some neon orange in there, but they could tone some of those elements down and crank up the "stealth-factor" a notch.  Of course, give the guy his crossnbow/gun thing.  This guy has had basically no spotlight in any of the media, so they could really have some fun with this figure!  The question is... what do they do about his glider?  A repainted C.L.A.W.?  A similar glider like Raptor has now?  Or something totally new and unique?  Whatever the case, this would be a great figure to get the Classified treatment!  (Sorry for the fuzzy picture, it's all I have left of the figure...)

#3 - CLAYMORE

This would be a fun one!  Claymore was the only "new" character in the Special Missions Brazil set, but he was still cobbled together from parts of other figures...  And all those figures have been made!  So why not, piece Claymore back together for Classified?  Maybe give him a more standard desert camo pattern rather than the "giraffe gear" he originally had.  Then hook him up with some cool accessories and you are good to go!

#2 - OVERLORD

The poor guy got NO love what-so-ever in the original line!  None!  The "supposed" new leader of Cobra was released without any fanfare, no hype, and no spotlight.  His only significant appearance was in a video game and then he was quietly swept under the rug.  Well, how about the Classified line dust him off and give Overlord a nice upgrade!  Give him a cape, a scepter or staff, and for the love of Pete - give the guy a Cobra symbol on his uniform!!!!  No wonder his reign in Cobra ended before it began - he didn't sell himself to the Cobra Leadership position very well (like Serpentor did).  Give him his "Wolverine claws" or backscratchers and obviously his Dictator vehicle.  Deck him out so people know what job position he is vying for!

#1 - THE FRIDGE

I would LOVE to see this figure made!  This is one of the only figures I'm concerned Hasbro WON'T make because I don't know if William Perry even WANTS them using his likeness again...?  But if they DID make this figure - it would be awesome!  Give him the Deluxe treatment like Sgt. Slaughter with a lot of gear!  He doesn't have to have machine guns or anything.  Give him his football mace and maybe some equipment he can train Joes with!  Also, maybe 2 different head sculpts - one with his smile like on the original figure and maybe one with more of a determined look as he tries to get the Joes ready for battle!

Bonus Figure Mention - T'GIN-ZU

Now THAT is a deep dive on a figure!  T'Gin-Zu was a Ninja Force figure that was packaged with the Pile Driver vehicle in 1993.  He was a straight repaint of Storm Shadow (v3).  I always liked the 1993 additions to Ninja Force (obviously, as Banzai is already on this list).  This one would be EASY to do though.  Just repaint their original Classified Stormy figure and hook him up with some cool ninja weapons.  Easy as pie!  You can even leave out the Pile Driver vehicle... I'm not sure there is ANY demand for that thing anyways.

As of right now, none of these figures have even been hinted at.  But you never know what is going on in the minds of the Hasbro gang.  It's been said though, that they want to get through ALL of the original figures eventually.  I don't know if that will happen, but these are all figure's I would likely buy (unless they go too far off-track with the design).  The line doesn't appear to be slowing down yet, so there is still time to get these characters out there.  We'll see what happens!
